“Movement in Blue and Gold” is a mixed media/fiber piece that is an adventure in color, texture, shapes, line, shiny fabrics, and monotype collage. It is usual for me to work abstractly without and image of a place, a person, or a time in my head.

I attended a fiber collage and monotype printing workshop by Sue Benner. She challenged me to work on a non-representational piece. I picked the classic color scheme of blue and gold and enjoyed creating a piece focusing totally on composition.
